Our Why

Sharon Nelson, founder of Central Oregon Rescue & Rehab (CORR), was not only a lifelong advocate for dogs — she was also a dear friend to our family. Through the rescue she built, Sharon helped connect dogs with the right homes and families, and through that work, our beloved dog Koda became part of our lives.

This February marks the one-year anniversary of Sharon’s passing, and this fundraiser is our way of honoring her legacy while helping continue the rescue work she cared so deeply about.

Because of Sharon’s dedication and the ongoing mission of CORR, we gained a deep appreciation for the time, care, and commitment that responsible rescue work requires. Today, we live on the property with CORR and witness firsthand the daily effort that goes into caring for dogs, preparing them for placement, and supporting successful matches with loving homes.

The Rescue Paws Bath Box was created to honor Sharon’s legacy and to help support the continued work CORR does for dogs every day. Community support plays an essential role in helping rescue organizations continue their mission, and this fundraiser is one small way we can give back.

Boxes will be handcrafted after the presale closes, and we will produce only the quantity ordered.

Because the dog soap is freshly made based on orders received and requires proper curing time, boxes will ship approximately 5 weeks after the presale closes.
