Why I Started Suds & Buds
I didn’t start Suds & Buds because I wanted a business.
I started it because I stopped trusting what I was using every day.
After years of dealing with my own health challenges and walking through infertility, I began paying closer attention to what I was putting on my skin, in my home, and around my family. The more I learned, the harder it became to ignore how many unnecessary ingredients were hiding in everyday products.
So I started making my own.
What began as a personal shift — creating simple soaps and tallow-based products I felt good about using — slowly grew into something more.
Today, Suds & Buds Apothecary is still rooted in that same intention.
Everything is handcrafted in small batches using thoughtfully chosen ingredients. No shortcuts. No overwhelm. Just products designed to support your everyday routines in a way that feels simple, comforting, and real.
This isn’t about perfection.
It’s about doing better where you can… and creating small moments that help you reset, take a breath, and feel good about what you’re using.

I’ve tried a few of these shower steamers and they are amazing. My favorite scent is honeysuckle, it’s just like sitting in my garden.

Only a very little goes a long way, so it becomes cost effective as well.

My furbaby is a picky girl, and normally only likes soft or chewy treats.
However, upon arrival Heidi insisted on pushing and pawing the delivery package open to help me get to these treats.
