How We Got Here
Suds & Buds didn’t start with a business plan.
It started with me becoming a mom.
After years of infertility, loss, treatments, and fighting like hell for the family I wanted, motherhood changed the way I looked at just about everything.
I started reading labels, questioning ingredients, and making things myself. First soap. Then tallow products, simple home goods, herbs, and a whole lot of experimenting in my kitchen.
Friends and family started asking for what I was making, and eventually this little thing I’d started for us became Suds & Buds Apothecary.
But somewhere along the way, my definition of intentional changed.
It stopped being only about what goes into the things we use and became just as much about the people we love.
Remembering the birthday. Bringing dinner when life goes sideways. Sending the card. Taking the trip with your kids. Giving the gift for absolutely no reason other than, I saw this and thought of you.
Around here, we call that holistic-ish.
Not perfect. Not preachy. Just a little crunch, sorta country, a whole lotta chaos — and a genuine belief that we can live, give, and love people a little more intentionally.
