HOW WE GOT HERE
This Wasn't Exactly the Plan.
Suds & Buds started with a desire to make better choices for our family.
Then life did what life does.
There were kids, animals, homeschooling, moves, projects, messes, reinventions and more than a few “what the hell are we doing?” moments along the way.
Somewhere in all of that, Suds & Buds became about more than soap.
It's about slowing down enough to notice people.
Choosing a little more intentionally.
Giving gifts that actually mean something.
Making home feel good.
Getting outside.
Trying things.
Making memories.
And figuring it out as we go.
We're not perfectly holistic. We're not perfectly organized. And we definitely don't have everything figured out.
We're just trying to build a life with a little more intention, connection and fun in it.

We're building a business, raising a kid, homeschooling, caring for a ridiculous number of animals and trying very hard not to let real life pass us by.
So sometimes we close the laptops, load everybody up and go.
Waterfalls. Camping trips. Road trips. Muddy dogs. Questionable snacks. Places worth returning to and a few we'd probably skip next time.
We're sharing the adventures — including the imperfect parts — because we think families could use a little more connection and a little less scrolling.

I’ve tried a few of these shower steamers and they are amazing. My favorite scent is honeysuckle, it’s just like sitting in my garden.
The scent is better and lasts longer than others I’ve tried.

My skin loves the whipped tallow, just soaks it up, and becomes soooo soft and supple.
Only a very little goes a long way, so it becomes cost effective as well.
And because it’s natural, it’s so much healthier to use than all the chemical face moisturizes on the market.
